Worm LoveLetter is a well known parasite that spreads in the Internet in e-mails with infected attachments. It is written in Visual Basic Script language and uses the Microsoft Outlook mail program to distribute itself to all e-mail addresses found in the Address Book. It also modifies mIRC chat client's settings and uses it to send copies of itself to other users. The worm changes browser settings and downloads a trojan, which logs all passwords and user names used by users of the infected computer. The Loveletter corrupts or infects files of several types, which can be used later to infect another vulnerable computer.
