Worm Nimrod (also known as Dormin) is an Internet worm that spreads using infected e-mails, through IRC channels and in file-sharing networks. It usually tries to look like an animation file and shows a fake error message when installing itself to the system. It affects Microsoft Outlook mail client, mIRC and pIRCh chat programs and peer-to-peer application KaZaA and distributes itself using this software. The worm also copies itself to all available hard disks and tries to disable the keyboard and mouse.
