Usually, IGuardPc must be manually installed, but the trick is that this program impersonates legitimate or useful software. Sometimes it not so easy to tell weather software or for example security alerts are fake or legitimate, especially for inexperienced Internet users. When installed, I Guard Pc will simulate a system scan and display a list of infections that supposedly can be removed only if you purchase the program. That's not true and obviously a scam. To make this whole thing look more credibly, it will impersonate Windows Security Center and state that your anti-virus software is turned off.

What is more, IGuardPc will display many fake security alerts and notifications just like these shown in the image below [Figure 3]. Fake security alerts will state:

The home page of IGuardPc virus is iguardpc.com. You will be constantly redirected to this website when your PC is infected with this malware. Usually, it will display the pay page of the rogue program [Figure 4].

IGuardPc is a scam. It's not a legitimate anti-virus program, do not buy it. If you have already purchased it, please contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. Then use the manual removal instructions below or a automatic removal to remove IGuardPc from your PC. Related files: Uninstall.exe
