I had the same problem I wasn't able to get in to task manager or the registry as the user logged in. But if you hold shift and do a runas you can run it as a different user and kill the processes and get your machine cleaned up. I edited my msconfig as well just to be sure

Couldn't get Spyware Doctor to run or remove it manually - task manager was disabled by the virus (downloaded by my friend after clicking on an email from UPS about an undelivered parcel). But Malwarebytes Anti Malware shifted it no problem. Fantastic. Thanks for the info

To get to your C drive, make the program send you to the internet. Then press F11.. This will give you an internet explorer bar. You can then get to your PC (C drive) and also to other sites to download Malwarebytes to remove it.
It's a pretty stupid virus and is actually pretty easy to remove.

this genious of a virus pops up an infected message box when you try to get to task manager. however if u leave the message box up and ctrl alt delete again, the tm will come up, at least it did for me. killed is2010.exe, renamed the file in program files, then went about cleanup.

I did that to and a few days went by and now its back. So that didnt fix it.

I did the restore....you had to load up windows in safe mode to be able to do restore and this takes about 10-12 minutes to finish. This is only a part of a fix. It does come back, so there has to be more to fix this. Right now we did the restore and loaded windows regularly and the went on internet and downloaded free malwarebytes.com and installed it. Shut down internet and now running full scan. After full scan is done we are going back to safemode and running it again. This is going to take awhile, will try to let you all know what happens. Meanwhile let me know if you all try something that actually works.

Im surprised they didnt include this but USE SAFE MODE or COMMAND PROMPT mode. It wont even bother you when you try to get rid of it.

This site helped me a lot -
You can probably try this-
step 1 - find the folder for "issecurity shortcut icon (you can rigthclick to open file location)
Step 2 - rename file "issecurity" to any filename
Step 3 - Shift delete the entire folder (this will not allow you to delete file at first - follow the next steps)
Step 4 - restart your PC
STep 5 - find the folder for "issecurity icon (you can rigthclick to open file location)
Step 6 - Shift delete the entire folder (this time it will allow you to delete the file) - then you can delete the shortcut icon on your desktop
hope this works,...

Indeed it works! Just rename it as "TheVirusCreatorGoToHell". Reboot the PC and delete immediately!
