Worm Golember spreads in IRC networks using client software. After infection Golember creates its files and puts them on a hard disk. It modifies IRC clients forcing them to connect to various servers and to send text strings and copies of the worm. Golember is also capable to grant access of an infected machine to the attacker, so any file could be retrieved from infected host or modified, deleted.
