Katomik.b is a worm, which spreads through unprotected network shares. Once executed, the parasite secretly installs itself to the system and runs a payload. It changes the desktop wallpaper and disables essential system tools including the Task Manager and the Registry Editor. Katomik.b does not have any additional functionality. The worm automatically runs on every Windows startup.
