Kenety is a worm that acts as a botnet client. It spreads by exploiting RealVNC security vulnerability. It also infects systems with weak RealVNC passwords. Once installed, the parasite runs a payload. It establishes connection with botnet command and control server and awaits for commands from the remote attacker. The intruder can download and execute malicious files and run hidden FTP server. Kenety is able to bypass the Windows Firewall. The worm runs as a service on every Windows startup.
