Worm Kifie is a dangerous Internet parasite, which spreads by e-mail, via file-sharing networks and through IRC channels. Once executed, it displays a fake error message and installs itself to the system. It places infected files in shared directories of some peer-to-peer clients and Internet messengers. The worm modifies mIRC chat client's settings and distributes infected files in a chat network. For spreading by e-mail it uses Microsoft Outlook mail program. Kifie has a very dangerous payload: it overwrites all system executables and text documents. It also may show lots of annoying messages.
