Less Tabs is a potentially unwanted program, which can get inside PC's system without a clear permission asked and then start showing annoying pop-up ads. Of course, you can download it in a regular way and install it manually just like any other software, but we know very little about such cases. More often, we see different kinds of reports about surprising discovery of LessTabs, so there is no wonder why many security experts have started to call this program as 'adware'. Besides, the way how this program is promoted is not the only thing, which creates doubts. As soon as it settles down, it starts displaying banners, search boxes, pop-up ads and in-text ads when visiting such websites as Wikipedia, YouTube and similar websites. Be sure that they can easily turn your browsing sessions into annoying routine that can be stopped only by uninstalling this software. If you haven't installed Less Tabs manually, you should remove it from your PC.
HOW CAN I GET LESS TABS ON MY COMPUTER?
Less Tabs is mostly promoted via unfair distribution methods. Typically, it enters as any other adware, in a bundle with freeware and shareware. If you want to prevent its infiltration, you should choose the Custom installation of the freeware and additionally keep an eye on every installation window of the software. As soon as this program gets on its target machine, it starts its annoying behavior, which is based on constant pop-up ads that say “powered by Less Tabs”. While most of these ads are not dangerous and they can be easily ignored, you should remove LessTabs if you haven't installed it manually.
HOW TO REMOVE LESS TABS?
In order to remove Less Tabs and stop its pop-up ads, you should scan your PC with updated STOPzilla or SpyHunter.
In addition, fix each of the browsers and uninstall LessTabs from your machine via Add/Remove Programs list:
Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. Additionally, look for LessTabs entry and uninstall it.
Additionally, remove Less Tabs from your browsers:
Open Internet Explorer, go ‘Tools‘ -> ”Manage Add-ons’ -> ‘Toolbars and Extensions’. Here, look for Less Tabs and click 'uninstall'. Now open IE -> Tools -> Internet Option -> General tab. Enter Google or other address to make it the default start page.
Open Mozilla Firefox, go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Add-ons’ -> ‘Extensions’. Find Less Tabs and click ‘Uninstall’. Now go to Tools -> Options -> General -> Startup. Now select 'Show a blank page' when Firefox Starts or set a certain website, like Google or similar..
Click the Chrome menu button on the Google Chrome browser, select Tools -> Extensions. Here, look for Less Tabs extension and get rid of it by clicking on the Recycle Bin. Additionally, click on wench icon, go to settings and choose 'Manage search engines'. Change search engine to google or other and delete Less Tabs from the list. Then Go to section “On start” and make sure you get blank page while creating new tab.
