Lingling is a trojan that steals login names and passwords to the Chinese version of the World of Warcraft computer game. It also collects system and network information and transfers all this data to a predetermined web site. The parasite can terminate certain applications and delete the Hosts file. It may secretly run on every Windows startup.

Lingling gets into the system while visiting malicious web sites hosting exploits to known security vulnerabilities.
