Links is an adware program that creates desktop shortcuts pointing to certain Internet resources. Shortcuts are created without asking for user permission. Links regularly contacts a predefined web server to update its configuration settings. The program automatically runs on every Windows startup.

• Hides from the user
• Stays resident in background
