LoadLeader ads (Free Guide)

LoadLeader ads Removal Guide

What is LoadLeader ads?

What does LoadLeader do on the affected computer?

LoadLeader (also known as MaxDownload) is a program that was developed by LLC Audit Firm ACTIVE – AUDIT. It is deemed as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) because of several reasons. This program is known to be causing suspicious activities on the infected PC, and, while it presents itself as a beneficial tool to download files in a fast and easy way, it is nothing more but an adware program, which drops registry keys upon its installation. These keys ensure that LoadLeader PUP will be started with every computer’s startup. We do not recommend you to keep this program on your computer as it is known to be related to dangerous web sources. As we tried to access the official website of this program, we have received a warning message that we are attempting to enter a website that contains critical programs.

LoadLeader virus

Loadleader is specified to be an adware program, and that means it displays advertisements. Loadleader ads reportedly look attractive, but they are full of rogue hyperlinks that can lead you to infectious or even malicious websites. This program is highly questionable, and it may end you up on very dangerous web domains. It seeks to generate pay-per-click revenue – that is why it aims to force you to visit its affiliate websites. Loadleader generates web traffic to various third-party web pages, and such pages might promote questionable software. It might be that Loadleader gains pay-per-install revenue, too; however, you should NEVER install suspicious programs as they can be harmful to your computer! To keep your computer secured from potential risks, we recommend installing FortectIntego or any other anti-spyware software and removing Loadleader adware as soon as possible. You should also scan your computer for spyware and malware and delete anything that anti-spyware program detects.

How does LoadLeader hijack computers?

LoadLeader adware is not a reputable program, and computer users rarely install it by their choice. This program is usually distributed together with other free programs as a ‘suggested download.’ To avoid installing such additions, you must be cautious whenever you download freeware or shareware from the Internet. When you open the installation setup, follow each step closely and do not rush! Read program’s Terms of Use, and then set a safe installation mode. The safe ones are Advanced and Custom ones. Choose one of them, and then follow the process. You should see another setup window, which asks you whether you agree or disagree to install optional applications. Deselect the agreements to install any suspicious or unfamiliar applications – this way, you will not end up with questionable software or PUPs on your computer.

How to remove it from the PC?

Needless to mention, you should not keep this rogue application on your system unless you want to make it more vulnerable to various potential computer dangers. You should uninstall Loadleader virus – you can remove it manually, if you want, but security experts strongly advise to delete this program automatically. If you are not an experienced computer user – you may make a mistake and not fully uninstall this program, and that might cause problems later. Plus, the automatic removal tool can detect various other computer parasites that might not be recognized by inexperienced computer users.

Remember that the key to avoid installing computer parasites is to safely monitor each installation setup. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to do that, is it? All you need to do is to perform a few security checks while installing new apps, and that is it. Now, try to remove this program – and in case you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

How to prevent from getting adware

Choose a proper web browser and improve your safety with a VPN tool

Online spying has got momentum in recent years and people are getting more and more interested in how to protect their privacy online. One of the basic means to add a layer of security – choose the most private and secure web browser. Although web browsers can't grant full privacy protection and security, some of them are much better at sandboxing, HTTPS upgrading, active content blocking, tracking blocking, phishing protection, and similar privacy-oriented features. However, if you want true anonymity, we suggest you employ a powerful Private Internet Access VPN – it can encrypt all the traffic that comes and goes out of your computer, preventing tracking completely.

Lost your files? Use data recovery software

While some files located on any computer are replaceable or useless, others can be extremely valuable. Family photos, work documents, school projects – these are types of files that we don't want to lose. Unfortunately, there are many ways how unexpected data loss can occur: power cuts, Blue Screen of Death errors, hardware failures, crypto-malware attack, or even accidental deletion.

To ensure that all the files remain intact, you should prepare regular data backups. You can choose cloud-based or physical copies you could restore from later in case of a disaster. If your backups were lost as well or you never bothered to prepare any, Data Recovery Pro can be your only hope to retrieve your invaluable files.
