Malware Bell (aka Malware Bell v3.2) is a rogue anti-spyware program. The purpose of such programs is to extort money out of gullible user, they do it by employing scare tactics, such as displaying floods of popups and fake system notifications to "inform" them that their systems are infected. Upon scaring the user, Malware Bell provides him with an answer - the "licensed version" of the program. Malware Bell infects the system by using trojans, such as Zlob or Vundo.

Malware Bell can also be manually downloaded and installed if the user is gullible enough to download it. It uses falsified scan results to intimidate you into buying its fake "full" version. The payment system which processes Malware Bell payments is not legitimate and may use your credit card information for carding. It is a malicious program and should not be downloaded or bought, and you should block malwarebell.com using your HOSTS file.
