MedichiVirus is distributed via peer-to-peer software. It may also spread in form of fake video codecs. Medichi displays pop-ups with alerts “This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.” and “Your computer is infected with spyware! Press OK to download spyware removal.” MedichiVirus disables communication tools such as instant messengers; it may also change desktop settings. If you notice symptoms described above, run anti spyware software or remove Medichi Virus manually.
