Remove Mini Command. Description and removal instructions
A Remote Administration Tool is a special kind of hacker spyware, used for remote access and control of other people's computers. The attacker infects the PC via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing. A "server" allows him to connect via a "client" on his own machine. The functions of a RAT may vary, depending on the needs of the hacker. Some RATs can't really harm your PC and the only purpose they were made for is hooliganism. But some versions can steal vital information, delete files and even crash your system. The author of this pest is a hacker called Blade. The programming language is Delphi. Several variants (Mini Command 1.0, Mini Command 1.1, Mini Command 1.2, Mini Command 1.3a beta) appeared from September 1999 to September 2001.
From the publisher:
"First off i'd like to thank you all for using my software, and for waiting patiently for this release. Second, i know the server is kinda large, but it has alot of nice features. an i have included a small configurable www downloader to use for infection. This is a full release, not a beta. It should be rather bug free but if you do find bugs report them on my forum: http://incommand.ath.cx/ This software is supplied as-as! the author is in no way responsible for anything that ever happens as a result of use of this software. The hints in the client are pretty self-explanitory. Execute DOS command can and will lock the server up if you execute a command that does not return. Now i'll explain the notify server. Setting the server with the IP of a computer that will be running the notify server will make the server, when it starts up, try to connect to the notify server and update it with it's info, like port, password, victim name, etc. if you don't have the notify server running, and never set an icq uin you will not be notified. notify server has a few features that are self explanitory. Look at the pop-up hints. The editserver will build a fresh server, downloader and plugin installer, for you and has the option to change the executable's icon too. You can load and test a plugin thru the editserver too. use caution! any commands int he plugin will be executed on yuor PC when testing!!!!!! so i suggest you only TEST PLUGINS that you know exactly what they do! the text files int he plugin folder can be opened in notepad to be read, or the client and editserver will load them for you to read too. these explain what the plugin does. i have included source code for a couple plugins also, so you can write your own plugins. look in the plugin source code comments for help on plugin layout."
