MProtect 2009 is a fake security tool that was created to make believe the user this software will help him to get rid of the viruses that were infected on the computer. However, it must be remarked that MProtector 2009 is not able to delete any kind of virus and the only thing it will definitely do is take the money from the credit card of the user.
MProtect 2009, like other rogues, distributes itself by malicious websites and gets into the PC through trojans. It starts every time the computer is rebooted and the user is flooded with popup windows and fake security alerts that claim that the PC is infected with badware. Fabricated system scan results are made to make the user to spend his money for the commercial version of this fake anti-spyware.
MProtect 2009 shouldn’t be taken as a real product for the parasite prevention and the detection of this scamware may be a difficult and problematic process. It should be removed as soon as possible.
