Not that complicated to remove if you follow the instruction. However in addition to the registry keys search "spyware" in registry. It will find a few more places where they tried to hide it.

Do a search for the file called userinit.exe on your C drive and delete it. Nothing stopped the pop ups until I deleted this file.
