Muquest is a trojan that turns a compromised computer into a proxy server or traffic relay. Once executed, the parasite secretly installs itself to the system and checks whether an infected computer is connected to the Internet. Then it transfers network information to a predetermined remote host and awaits for incoming traffic. Muquest severely degrades Internet connection bandwith and speed. The trojan automatically runs on every Windows startup.
