My Disk is a fake computer optimization program that displays fake hard drive errors and other system problems to scare you into thinking that there are issues with your computer. This rogue program is installed via Trojans that also display fake but legitimate looking alerts on the compromised computer. Basically, Trojans trick users into installing this bogus disk defragmentation utility. Once installed, My Disk will display many fake error messages when you attempt to launch other program programs. It will pretend to scan your computer for errors. Of course, it will find numerous errors but will not allow you to fix these errors unless you fist purchase the rogue program. My Disk is a scam, do not be scared into purchasing the rogue program when you see its alerts.

My Disk also attempts to make it so you cannot run any programs on your computer. If you attempt to launch a program it will terminate it and state that the program or hard drive is corrupted. The fake error messages read:

Windows detected a hard drive problem.
A hard drive error occurred while starting the application.

A problem with the hard drive sectors has been detected. It is recommended to download the following sertified software to fix the detected hard drive problems. Do you want to download recommended software?

It will also display fake pop up messages saying that your private data is at risk. Some ofthe fake warnings read:

System Restore
The system has been restored after a critical error. Data integrity and hard drive integrity verification required.

Without a doubt, My Disk is absolutely useless program. You shouldn't buy it.
