NetPal is a malicious adware program that regularly displays undesirable pop-up advertisements, tracks user web browsing habits and records addresses of visited web sites. It can read the user's e-mail messages and collect his identity details, update itself via the Internet, download and install potentially harmful software. NetPal may also change Internet Explorer default home and search pages. The parasite's activity often causes Internet Explorer slowdowns and frequent crashes. The threat is bundled with some parasites and ad-supported products. It automatically runs every time the user starts Internet Explorer.
