Omega Antivir is a misleading antivirus application that reports false system security threats on your computer to make you think you are infected. The application is from the same family as Windows Additional Guard, Windows Guard Pro, Ultimate System Guard, Smart Virus Eliminator and others. Once installed, it will allegedly scan your computer and display a variety of infections. Then Omega Antivir will prompt you to pay for a full version of the program to remove infections which do not even exist. Do not purchase it and uninstall OmegaAntivir from your computer as soon as possible.

Most if the time, OmegaAntivir enters a computer secretly with the help of Trojan viruses. The rogue application identifies legitimate program as infections or displays non-existing files. To make things worse it will constantly display fake security alerts and notifications from Windows Task bar like every 45 seconds. Omega Antivir will also impersonate Windows Security Center and report that your anti-virus software is disabled. Basically, it will do everything to trick you into purchasing the program. This is the main goal of this parasite.
