OneStep Search is also known as OneStep Search Tool. It is a malicious toolbar able to infect various web browsers. It might be installed voluntarily, but it usually comes bundled with freeware such as audio players, screensavers, animated wallpapers and similar programs. The toolbar redirects web browser to onestepsearch.net website which is an online search engine. One Step Search Tool tracks everything entered into address bar of a web browser. It treats every address as it was a search request and displays search results on onestepsearch.net instead of the actual website.

According to the latest reports, OneStep Search toolbar is distributed with Get Free Music manager and with all downloads at freeze.com.
