Opasoft (also known as Opaserv) is a worm, which spreads in local networks. It installs itself to the system and searches for vulnerable computers. It is able to infect almost all computers with shared resources or without them. It connects to the Internet and downloads updates and plugins. The worm has an integrated backdoor, which can be used by attackers to control an infected computer remotely. Opasoft spreads very quickly and can cause a huge overload of the network.
