OS Protection is a rogue anti-spyware application. It is very similar to another fake spyware remover called Spyware Protect 2009. OS Protection is advertised as reliable software which ensures basic protection for PC. But actually, the main purpose of this rogue is absolutely different. OSProtection is not designed to remove any system trouble or infections. This parasite uses scare tactics in order to sell commercial version, which of course is useless too.

After infection, OS Protection performs a fake scan and floods the system with pop-up windows and other similar notices. Mainly, these pop-up alerts show false information about various infections, system security and privacy issues. OS Protection can only detect those infections, but is unable to remove then due to removal restrictions of trial version. So, user is advertised to buy a full version, which then will remove all the infections. Obviously, this is a scam and a fraud. User has to remove OS Protection from the system instead of buying it, because this application is worthless and even dangerous.
