Paladin Antivirus is a rogue security application that is distributed and installed through the use of Trojans or other malicious software. It’s from the same family as Malware Defense. Once installed, PaladinAntivirus will attempt to uninstall legitimate antivirus software. While running, the rogue program will display many fake security alerts on your screen. Those fake security warnings will claim that your PC is badly infected or that your computer is being attacked from a remote PC.
