PC Antivirus 2010 is a rogue anti-virus program that uses misleading methods to trick you into thinking that your computer is infected with malware. As a typical rogue program it displays fake security alerts and reports false system security threats. The main goal of PCAntivirus2010 is to trick you into purchasing the program. In other words, it's a scam. Obviously, you shouldn't pay for it. Firstly because it's not legitimate and it won't remove any infections or make you PC more secure. Secondly, you just simple lose your money and that's it. If you have already purchased this bogus program then you should contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.

Probably the most annoying thing about PC Antivirus 2010 is that this rogue program constantly displays fake security alerts and blocks legitimate programs even if they are not security related (antivirus, anti-spyware and etc.). Once installed it will run a fake system scan and display a list of infections that can not be removed unless you first purchase the program. That's not true, because the scan results are absolutely false. Just like the fake security alerts, those false system security threats should be safely ignored. Furthermore, PC Antivirus 2010 will hijack your web browser and state that certain page that you are about to open is infected and redirect you to a pay page of the rogue program or any other misleading web site full of false information or ads.
