PC Defender Antivirus is a rogue anti-spyware program that reports false or exaggerated security threats to make you think that your computer is infected with malware. Once installed, the rogue program prompts to purchase a license of PC Defender Antivirus to remove non-existent threats or infections. It goes without saying that you should remove PC Defender Antivirus from your computer upon detection. PC Defender Antivirus is usually promoted through the use of Trojans, fake online anti-malware scanners and other misleading websites. When installed, the rogue program will display fake security alerts claiming that your PC is under attack or that is seriously infected with adware, spyware and other viruses.
