PC Guardian 2010 is a rogue anti-spyware program. This program is installed through the use of Trojans. PCGuardian2010 is also promoted through the use of advertisements that pretend to be online anti-malware scanners. Once installed, it will scan your computer and display a list of infections that won't be removed until you purchase the program. These infections, though, are all fake and are only being shown to scare you into thinking that your computer is infected with malware.

While running, PC Guardian 2010 will display numerous fake security alerts and pop-ups claiming that your computer is infected and that you should purchase the program to make you PC secure. When you attempt to download a program it will pop-up an alert stating that the download may be malicious. Other alerts will state that your computer is under attack from a remove computer. All of these alerts are fake and just like the false scan results should be ignored.

Last but not least, PC Guardian 2010 will display a fake Windows Security Center on your computer and hijack web browser. With all of this said, please do not purchase PC Guardian 2010 if you find it on your computer.
