Pest Detector 4.1 is a rogue anti-virus program that uses false scan results and misleading security alerts or fake fake pop-ups in order to try and convince you that your computer is infected with malware. Once installed, the rogue program will supposedly scan your computer and list a variety of infections on your computer. Then Pest Detector 4.1 will state that it won't remove the infections until you first purchase it. Don't but this fake program. Otherwise, it will scam you out of your money. If you have paid for Pest Detector already then we suggest you contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. Pest Detector 4.1 is a clone of Red Cross Antivirus, Peak Protection 2010 and some other scareware. While running, it will shown a constant stream of fake security alerts stating that your computer is infected with Trojans, adware, worms and other viruses. It will block task manager, registry editor and disable system restore. Most likely you won't be able to boot your computer is safe mode too. You will have to end Pest Detector 4.1 processes first and then download malware removal software. For more information see removal instructions below. I definately have this virus all the descriptions are accurate but the file names to be deleted have changed - there are no defender, antispy or tmp processes... and the registry files are not there as indicated either...

hotfix.exe is another one! And i mirror other comments, alot of the registry names aren't there and files to be deleted i believe have changed also, further help would be appreciated.
