Severity scale:PictLuv severity is 57  (57 / 100)

PictLuv is an Internet worm that spreads by e-mail through messages with infected attachments. Once the user opens such an attachment, the parasite secretly installs itself to the system and runs a spreading routine. It uses own e-mail engine to send bogus letters to addresses it finds on the infected computer. Then PictLuv runs a payload. It searches local hard drives and accessible network shares for executable files and attempts to infect them. The worm automatically runs on every Windows startup.
