Severity scale:Privacy Tools Pack severity is 64  (64 / 100)

Privacy Tools Pack also known as Privacy Components is another rogue security product. This fake program is slightly different from other malicious spyware removers. It is advertised as all-in-one security pack including components like memory wizard, system monitor and others. PrivacyToolsPack makes it's own way to the system via corrupt websites or system security holes.

After infection, PrivacyTools Pack can even change the settings of operating system. Usually, Privacy Tools Pack performs fake scan and floods system with tray alerts, pop-up windows and similar notifications about various security problems and system infections. These problems of course are made up in order to scare the user and hopping that he will buy a full copy of Privacy Tools Pack. Actually this would be the worst option in this situation, because PrivacyTools Pack (Privacy Components) is an infection itself. Obviously it is unable to detect or remove any real infection. We recommend you to remove this parasite from the system upon detection.
