ProtectionAssuree is a French version of the rogue anti-spyware program AVSystemCare. It is, essentially, a fake spyware removal tool, which is usually installed by a Trojan. When active, ProtectionAssuree uses popups, fake system notifications and falsified system scans to scare the user into buying the full version of the program, which is supposedly needed to dispose of the non-existent threats.

ProtectionAssuree is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block protectionassuree.com using your HOSTS file.
