ProtectSoldier is yet another rogue security application from the WiniSoft malware family. It’s a rename of ProtectDefender and ArmorDefender scareware. This fake software is very irritating. It displays disturbing security alerts, creates many harmless files on the computer and later detect those files as serious PC threats or infections. At the end, it asks to pay for a full version of the program to remove the infections which as we now know don’t even exist. Without a doubt, ProtectSoldier must be removed from the system as soon as possible. Please read the removal guide below. And remember, don’t purchase it!

ProtectSoldier usually comes from fake online anti-malware scanners and has to be manually installed. The home page of Protect Soldier is protectsoldier.com [Figure 2]. The rogue program can enter a computer from fake video websites too. Such websites usually look like Youtube or other better known video websites. Once installed, ProtectSoldier will simulate a system scan and show premeditated infections. It will also hijack Internet Explore and identify safe websites as dangerous. Not to mention that it will flood your computer with fake security alerts like every minute and state that you are badly infected.
