QuantumCoupons virus. Why does it generate so many advertisements?

QuantumCoupons is an incredibly intrusive computer software. If you have noticed that your PC acts sluggish, your web browser lags or even crashes sometimes, also if the browser produces pop-ups and displays banners on the websites while you browse the Internet, it means that your computer is infected with adware. These ads might show up on any web browser, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. If these ads are marked as “Ads by QuantumCoupons,” “powered by QuantumCoupons,” “brought to you by QuantumCoupons” or “QuantumCoupons deals,” it indicates that you have QuantumCoupons adware installed on your system. It is a potentially unwanted program (PUP), which can annoy you to death.

Once installed, it starts to track what the computer user does while he/she browses the Internet. It studies user’s web browsing history and recent search queries to understand what the user is interested in. Based on such records, QuantumCoupons virus creates targeted ads that are meant to draw user’s attention and force him to click on the ad. However, no matter that these ads present price comparisons, coupons, discount codes and similar content, the majority of these ads are fake. In fact, we doubt that any of QuantumCoupons ads are reliable at all. This adware program is designed to trigger redirects once the user clicks on the ad; these redirects are meant to lead the user to predetermined third-party websites and drive web traffic to them.

QuantumCoupons virus official website and example of QuantumCoupons adsBe cautious because some of these delusive ads can force you to visit very dangerous Internet sites designed to look reliable. Some untrustworthy web pages might try to convince you to install unreliable software, which can be infectious. If you are a security-minded PC user, you should uninstall QuantumCoupons virus from your computer. It is not only hardly useful, but it also causes system slowdowns and is bothersome, however, we believe that you have already noticed that. To remove QuantumCoupons, you can use anti-spyware software, such as Reimage.

How does QuantumCoupons spread?

You are probably wondering how did this app end up on your PC if you did not download and install it. Here is the explanation. QuantumCoupons PUP spreads via bundled software, which means you can install it with another program. Although it has an official website, it tends to spread in an indirect way, which is way more efficient. The majority of PC users do not know that Custom/Advanced installation settings are much more reliable than the recommended ones, such as Default/Basic/Standard ones. The advanced and/or custom settings provide the list of additional “recommended” downloads that you can install alongside your preferred app. So whenever you install software that you have downloaded from the web, adjust the installation settings and opt out the extra software, which is commonly disguised as “recommended download.”

If this annoying computer parasite has already infected your PC, you probably want to remove it. You can find QuantumCoupons removal guide on page 2.

How to remove QuantumCoupons?

We believe that you do not need more reasons to decide whether you should keep or remove QuantumCoupons virus. It can hardly provide any money saving deals. Just for you to know, the majority of online shopping apps, also called shopping assistants, appear to be annoying ad-supported software that is completely useless. If you do not want to experience computer slowdowns and constant interruptions during your browsing sessions, consider removing QuantumCoupons adware. You can do that manually, using the instructions given below the article. If you wish to eliminate this software automatically, perform QuantumCoupons removal using a powerful anti-malware program.
