RegClean (a.k.a RegClean 2008) is a corrupt drive cleaner tool and a clone of ErrorSweeper. Although it must be manually installed, it uses misleading advertising to persuade users into downloading. RegClean2008 offers registry scan, but the results of scan are always fabricated. RegClean displays exaggerated error reports with the sole intention of tricking users into purchasing the "full" version of the program. RegClean is just another malware scam out of thousands roaming the Web: remove it immediately after detection.

QR code for RegClean removal instructions:
QR is short for Quick Response. They can be read quickly by the mobile phones. QR codes can store more data than standard barcodes, including url links, geo coordinates, and text.
The reason we add QR code to the website is that parasites like RegClean are really hard to remove on infected computer.
you can quicly scan the QR code with your mobile device and have manual removal instructions to uninstall RegClean right in your pocket.
Simply use the QR scanner and read removal instructions from mobile device.
I have tried many scanners to remove it. Most scanners werent even able to detect it. I also deleted the files my computer came up with when I searched for regclean. After a while I tried to manually remove the program but I couldnt find anything in the registry that corresponds to the things listed on this site. I also tried to search for the DLL files as mantioned on this page. Because of this, I assume that it is removed.
However, when I look at my auto startup list (Run => msconfig => startup) it still lists regclean as an item. Could anyone tell me if this is a good sign or not?
Tnx for this page btw. I learned a lot through it.
