RegistryCleanerXP is a rogue anti-spyware application that gives exaggerated or false security scan reports. RegistryCleanerXP propagates several methods: it may either infect your system via browser security exploits, by trojans or you may download it yourself from it's homepage.
After getting on the system, RegistryCleanerXP starts and scans your system for "registry errors". However, its scan reports include numerous fake and exaggerated "corrupt registry entries". This is done to scare users into purchasing the full version of the program, which is just as fake as the trial one.
