RegSweep is a rogue anti-spyware program that infects the system by using trojans, such as Zlob or Vundo. The purpose of these programs is to extort money out of gullible user, they do it by employing scare tactics, such as displaying floods of popups and fake system notifications to "inform" them that their systems are infected.

Upon scaring the user, RegSweep provides him with a supposed answer - the "licensed version" of the program. This is, of course, not the case, as RegSweep is just another scam designed to rip you off and get away with it. DO NOT trust this parasite: remove RegSweep ASAP if you've been infected.
