SafePcAv is a fake anti-spyware application that is promoted and installed through the use of Trojans that come from fake online anti-malware scanners. This rogue program is a clone of GuardWWW, MyPcSecure, PcSecureNet and other rogue programs from the WiniSoft malware family. Once this fake software is installed, it will automatically scan your computer and display a list of false system security threats. SafePcAv will then ask you to pay for a full version of the software in order to remove the threats. Don't purchase it and follow the removal guide below to remove SafePcAv virus from your computer either manually for free or with an automatic remover.

While running, SafePcAv will display fake alerts and notifications claiming that your computer is not protected [Figure 2] or badly infected. Sometimes this fake program come bundled with trojan/tookit infection so you probably won't be able to launch anti-virus or anti-spyware software. In such case, you must end malicious processes first and after that run an anti-spyware software or remove Safe Pc Av associated files manually.

The home page of this bogus program is safepcav.com but it doesn't host any harmful files. Usually, SafePcAv is promoted via such bogus websites as farmeset.com (don't open it). It's a browser hijacker that impersonates Windows "My computer" view and reports premeditated infections. If you see such site, please leave it immediately and don't download/install anything. What is more, the rogue program will impersonate Windows Security Center and claim that you should purchase SafePcAv software to protect yourself. Don't trust it. If you fin that you are infected, please get rid of SafePcAv using free removal guide stated below or just download an automatic removal tool. If you have purchased it, contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.
