SaveKeeper is promoted through the use of Trojan viruses, browser hijackers and fake anti-malware scanners. Once your computer is infected with Save Keeper, you will see many security alerts and notifications from Windows Task bar stating that your computer is under attack or that your anti-virus software is disabled. While running, the bogus software will allegedly scan your computer and display a variety of infections that won't be removed unless you first purchase the program.
