Schoeberl.c is a trojan designed to secretly download from the Internet and execute arbitrary files on the compromised computer. It also installs certain security threats that steal user confidential information. The parasite contacts predefined remote servers and downloads malicious files and additional instructions. It terminates running firewalls and some security-related processes. Schoeberl.c runs on every Windows startup.

The worm usually arrives attached to spam e-mail messages purportedly sent by T-Com (Deutsche Telekom).
