Security Guard is another rogue anti-spyware which belongs to malicious family also known for releasing Cleanup Antivirus rogue. Being promoted by backdoor Trojans and fake online scanners, Security Guard reveals its existence on the infected computer by displaying fake alerts and system scanners that all appear too frequently to be ignored. By its annoying activity, program tries to push users into getting its commercial version, so don’t give your money away for this scareware.

Having been installed, Security Guard claims to scan the infected machine at once Windows starts and always reports malware threats. It’s worth mentioning that all these cyber threats reported by it are either non-existent, corrupt files earlier created by Trojans or your legitimate files, sensitive for system performance. Some of them may be these: ANTIGEN.sys, ANTIGEN.tmp, cb.exe, cid.dll, ddv.sys, eb.dll, eb.drv, energy.exe, exec.exe, exec.tmp, fan.drv, fix.tmp, grid.exe, kernel32.exe, runddlkey.drv, SICKBOY.exe, tempdoc.tmp.

So, the scan of Security Guard cannot to be trusted as this software also has no spyware search and removal engine and will never detect any malicious activity.
