Sharpei is an Internet worm, which spreads by e-mail in messages with infected executable attachments. It installs itself to the system and starts its spreading routine. It sends infected letters to addresses found in the Microsoft Outlook Address Book. The worm requires some system components to work and cannot infect older operating systems with no such components installed.
