Smart Browse is an Internet Explorer toolbar with additional spyware functionality. The program changes web browser default search page, logs user search queries and records user e-mail addresses. Gathered data can be given to third-party advertising companies without explicit user consent. Smart Browse is automatically installed by some web sites. The threat runs every time a user starts Internet Explorer.
