Snifula.b is a trojan that steals user sensitive information including e-mail account details, ICQ and FTP login info, online usernames, passwords and all the data submitted to web forms. The parasite also attempts to steal passwords to protected storage and certain private certificates. Furthermore, Snifula.b allows the remote attacker to download and execute arbitrary files. The trojan uses an integrated rootkit to hide its presence in the system. It can disable the Windows Firewall and secretly update itself via the Internet.
Snifula.b may arrive attached to spam e-mail messages. It can also be installed by other parasites.
