SoftSoldier is a misleading application promoted through the use of Trojans, fake online scanners and websites that supposedly provide free videos of popular TV shows. Usually a Trojan-Downloader downloads a Trojan virus which creates many harmless files in main OS directories and launches the Soft Soldier scareware. Then SoftSoldier imitates a fake system scan and reports earlier created files as serious infections or computer threats. Finally, the rogue application will prompt you to pay for a full version of the program to remove the threats that do not actually exist. Do not purchase this bogus program and uninstall SoftSoldier upon detection.

To make matters worse, SoftSoldier will constantly display fake security alerts and notifications. It will impersonate Windows Security Center and state that your computer is unprotected. The misleading application suggests purchasing the so-called full version of the program in order to protect your computer. However, please note that the legitimate Windows Security Center does not promote any security software. That's the main difference between these programs.
