SoftVeteran is a misleading anti-virus application that displays false scan results and fake security warnings to convince you that your computer is infected with spyware, Trojans and other malware. The main goal of Soft Veteran is to trick you into purchasing the program. Obviously, this is a scam. First of all, SoftVeteran is an infection itself, meaning that it can’t remove anything. Secondly, you won’t get anything in return. In other words, you will simply lose your money and that’s it. Obviously, you should by this crap. Instead, uninstall SoftVeteran from the system upon detection.
Soft Veteran is promoted through the use of Trojans and other malware. Some people think that this type of software must be manually installed. Well, not necessarily. This infection may be downloaded and installed secretly without your knowledge. But usually, this parasite is pushed via fake online anti-malware or similar scanners. SoftVeteran has it’s home page, but is not dangerous. It’s the same template used to promote rest of the rogue program from the WiniSoft family.
