SoftSafeness is a misleading security application from the same family as SafetyKeeper, SystemCop, BlockDefense and others. It reports false system security threats and displays fake security alerts to make you think you are infected. When installed, it will create many junk files which are harmless. Then it will detect those files as serious infections and prompt you to pay for a full version of the program to remove non-existing infections and system security threats. Du not buy this program. Uninstall SoftSafeness from the system as soon as possible.

SoftSafeness is promoted through the use of Trojans and other malicious software including fake online anti-spyware scanners and browser hijackers. While running, Soft Safeness will flood your computer with very annoying and obviously fake system security alerts. The rogue program will impersonate Windows Security Center and claim that your current antivirus software is disabled. Most importantly, do not purchase SoftSafeness! It's nothing more but a scam. To make things worse, this parasite will hijack your web browser and block security websites. You may also notice that your PC is slower than usual.
