SoftStronghold is a rogue security application promoted through the use of fake online scanners, misleading websites and fake advertisements. When running, this malware will report false computer infections or security threats and display fake security alerts to scare you into purchasing the program. In other words, Soft Stronghold is a scareware/ransomware. Of course, you shouldn't purchase this bogus program because it asks to buy the program to remove infections which do not even exist. Uninstall SoftStronghold from your PC as soon as possible. Otherwise it may seriously compromise you computer.

Once installed, SoftStronghold will be configured to run each time you log on into Windows. Immediately after that, it will display fake notifications from Windows Task Bar stating that your computer is infected with spyware and should be cleaned as soon as possible. The rogue program supposedly scans your PC and list a variety of infection that can't be removed with a trial version of the program. Unfortunately, the supposed full version of this program is actually useless too. Basically, SoftStronghold detects harmless files as serious infections. Also note that these files were created by the rogue itself during the installation process. What is more, this program will flood your computer with very annoying security alerts and warnings from fake Windows Security Center.
