Surfairy is a typical browser hijacker that changes Internet Explorer default error page. It redirects a web browser to a predetermined web site every time the user enters invalid site address or when certain Internet resource is not accessible. Surfairy can be installed by several advertising sites. It may come preinstalled on some new computers. The threat runs every time the user opens Internet Explorer.
