SyncroAd is a typical adware parasite that displays undesirable pop-up advertisements. It doesn't spread and must be manually installed. Once executed, SyncroAd drops its files into the system directory (C:\Windows\System, C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Winnt\System32) and modifies the registry, so that the threat runs on every Windows startup.

i have both spyware doctor and spysweeper. both detect Windows_SyncroAd but neither seems to remove it. quite a pesky little deal. Going to try to manually remove4 it and .... of course hope for the best.
